Gifts for Ministry Leaders & Parish Teams
Share
Think of the people who help your parish feel like a community. The catechist who learns every child’s name. The volunteer who stays to put the chairs away. The staff member who makes time for one more question.
The holidays are right around the corner and a Christmas thank-you is a chance to tell them you notice. Here are nine gift ideas for ministry leaders, parish volunteers, and diocesan staff. Our soapstone Angels and Holy Family figures are popular Christmas choices, alongside journals, bookmarks, and ornaments.
1. St. Michael the Archangel Journal | Ruled Notebook
A ruled notebook for meeting notes, prayer, or the thoughts someone wants to come back to. A useful thank-you for someone with a devotion to St. Michael.
2. St. Francis of Assisi Notebook | Journal
For someone who finds inspiration in St. Francis. A place for notes, reflection, and ideas for the work ahead.
3. The Lord Is My Shepherd Notebook | Journal - Psalm 23
A Psalm 23 notebook for the person who returns to these familiar words of comfort. Add a message of your own inside the cover.
4. Rose Cross Magnetic Bookmark
A small thank-you on its own or alongside a journal. A bookmark is easy to tuck into a card with a few words of appreciation.
5. Sacred Heart Magnetic Bookmark
For someone with a devotion to the Sacred Heart. A practical little gift they can use in a book, journal, or planner.
6. Angel w/Emboridery Holding Book - Small
A small embroidered angel holding a book. A seasonal gift to consider for a catechist, teacher, or someone who loves to read.
7. Embroidered Felt Cross
A colorful cross ornament for a Christmas tree or to hang in a car or purse. Handmade colors and details may vary.
8. Soapstone Angel Sculpture
Hand-carved in Kenya, this soapstone Angel makes a lovely keepsake for someone whose care has meant a lot to your community. Natural stone colors and carved details vary. Ask us about availability as these often sell out.
9. Hand-Carved Soapstone Holy Family
Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus, carved in soapstone. A Christmas gift for a ministry leader, parish staff member, or someone who collects nativity pieces. Check the dimensions and ask about availability for your prayer space or display.
Put the Thank-You in Your Own Words
A bookmark with a handwritten card. A journal with a note inside the cover. An ornament chosen especially for the person receiving it. These simple combinations let you keep the focus on your gratitude.
For a ministry leader, a soapstone Angel or Holy Family figure can be a lasting keepsake. Tell them what you appreciate about their guidance, kindness, or service. Naming one specific thing makes the message personal.
Planning an Advent Retreat or Parish Gathering?
Start with your headcount, budget, and the purpose of the gathering. A journal or bookmark can accompany retreat reflection. A soapstone figure or religious ornament may suit a welcome table or seasonal display, depending on your parish’s Advent and Christmas practices.
Choose room decorations separately from take-home gifts, and check dimensions before planning your display. Products are sold individually unless a particular bundle is listed.
Ordering for a Group
Send us your recipient count, budget per person, needed-by date, and delivery ZIP code. Let us know whether you’d like everyone to receive the same gift. We’ll check available quantities, cost, and timing with you.
If we don’t have enough in the shop, we can usually order from our suppliers if they have stock. This often takes about two weeks; we’ll confirm timing for your order rather than promise an event date before checking.
However you choose to say gracias, a few sincere words will help your gift feel like it was meant for them.
A Few Common Questions
Can We Give the Whole Team the Same Item? Ask us about the quantity you need. We’ll check shop and supplier stock before you decide.
Can I Put a Journal and Bookmark Together? Yes, you can choose the individual items. They’re separate purchases unless a bundle is listed.
Will There Be More Religious Ornaments? We’re planning to add more. Ask us about the current selection and what has arrived.
What If We Need Gifts for a Particular Event? Contact us with your date before ordering so we can check options and timing.
